prepared opium to Foreign countries is prohibited. The transit or transhipment of Raw Opium destined to foreign countries is only permitted under certificate a of importation granted by the Government of the import- ing country and offering sufficient guarantee against

the possibility of illicit use of the opium.

The present Ordinance is not/against opium for

medicinal and scientific use.

The Inspector of the Taxes of Consumption shall propose to the Government of the Colony what regulations he may

think necessary in regard to the sale of opium in

accordance with legal dispositions.

The Treasury Department will elaborate opium regulations

in substitution of those approved by P.P. Mo.268 of

27th November 1915.

The New Rules will fix the penalties which will be

applied in case of violation of the dispositions of

this Ordinance, the raw and prepared opium can be

confiscated under the agreement in Art.28 Chapter VII

of the Agreement stipulated in Geneva on 19th February

1925.

All legislation contrary to the above is abrogated.
